Everything you need to know before getting started
Which receipts can I upload?
Take a photo of a paper receipt or upload JPG, PNG and PDF files. AI suggests the vendor, amount, currency, date and category. Check the results; unclear receipts may need manual corrections. Only the first page of a PDF is processed.
Can I export to Tripletex or Visma?
You can email PDF reports to your accountant and export reported expenses to Excel. Regnskapet has no direct integration with Tripletex or Visma. Your accountant decides how to use the report in their system.
Does it cost anything?
No – Regnskapet is free to use for now. No card is required, and there are no automatic charges. Should we introduce paid plans later, we'll let you know in good time.
Is my data secure?
Receipts and reports are stored privately with access controls. Data is encrypted in transit, and external AI providers process receipts to read their contents. You can export or delete your own data. See the privacy policy for details.
Can multiple people in my company use the same account?
Currently each account is personal. For businesses with multiple employees, contact us for multi-user functionality.
Can I track mileage?
Yes. Record business trips and set your mileage rate in the app. Trips become expenses that you can assign to a company and project and include in reports for your accountant.
Can I keep expenses for different companies separate?
Yes. Each expense can belong to one company and an optional project. Save a report recipient per company and review the recipients before sending reports by company.
Is Regnskapet a complete accounting system?
Regnskapet handles receipts, expenses, mileage and reports for your accountant. It does not replace a complete accounting system for bookkeeping, invoicing or year-end accounts.
